WMSE MKE 9th Annual Art & Music Event Auction Piece
Korina Oswald was invited by the American Glass Guild (AGG) to share her next Community Project for their 2025 exhibition at the Mesa Contemporary Art Museum located in Mesa, Arizona. Originally from Gilbert, AZ, Korina wanted to honor her roots and the location of this project by having the final piece represent a diamondback rattlesnake - an important species native to the area. This installation marks Korina’s third annual Community Collaborative Project. Over 500 artists contributed to this project, each creating a unique glass piece to form the body of the snake form. Korina provided every artist with a blank template and allowed them to bring their personal touch and style to their section.
I decided to submit a piece that represented myself and my work in 2025....When I was designing, I knew I wanted to incorporate a disco ball because it was an extremely influential piece for my business in 2025. To extra represent me...I went with a pink color scheme with a pop of iridescent glass for the stars.
